Paid Events Are Coming To Zoom
Running paid events from Zoom can be cumbersome. You’ll need to set up your Zoom, set up registration, sell tickets somewhere and make sure that no one who hasn’t paid can get in.
But Zoom is about to make it easier. OnZoom is a new tool being rolled out to US users that will allow you to run paid events directly on Zoom.
There will be a directory where people can find paid events. Users will be able to purchase tickets using PayPal or a credit card.
Facebook recently launched a similar product, but Zoom could be a better choice for those who aren’t frequent Facebook users and for businesses where Facebook isn’t a good fit.

This is a fabulous way to build deeper relationships with your connections.
Twitter lets you hide replies
Twitter conversations are amazing but they can easily be thrown off track by inappropriate replies. Soon a healthy conversation becomes divisive, it becomes a thread about the bad comment and not the topic.
Twitter is testing giving the author of a tweet the option to hide comments that appear in response to it. This will keep the thread and conversation on topic and avoid unnecessary animosity.
Quote Tweet Is Now The Default
It’s easy to hit the ReTweet button but it’s better to tell people why you are sharing. It adds context and it is more valuable to your audience.
But it’s so much easier just to hit ReTweet right? Twitter just changed the way this works. Now when you click ReTweet you’ll automatically open up the Quote Tweet interface, prompting you to add context.
Not only will this help people understand why you are sharing, it will also give you a moment to think before you tweet.
If you don’t want to add a comment you can just go ahead and ReTweet, it will appear as normal in the feed.

Automatic Twitter Threads From Your Wodpress Blog
Twitter threads will help you capture the attention of your followers. Each individual tweet will lead to the thread, so if you can entice people to read they will stay longer. You’ll build more awareness and more trust
WordPress.com users will now be able to automatically split blog posts into Twitter threads, including any media content like images and videos.
While this is an interesting way to repurpose your content, will this kill threads? Do you want to read a 3,000 word post on Twitter?
If we see too many of them will we just stop clicking?
