Last year when I started making a plan to build a better and more loyal audience email figured heavily. Yes Google, Facebook Twitter, Pinterest and other social networks were delivering traffic to my site but how could I make them remember me? How could I get them to come back?
The answer of course, was email. Today in part one of a series of podcasts on email marketing we’ll look at how to get people to subscribe to your email list.

This week’s challenges
- If you haven’t’ got one already add an email subscribe to your blog. You could choose a simple form, a slide up window like mine from Leadin or a full on pop up.
- Create a sign up page on your website that you can link to from your email signature and blog posts.
- Take a good look at your blog analytics, identify the types of posts that draw the most traffic and write an eBook on that topic (ok I’m giving you longer than a week to complete that one)
