Episode 1: Improve Your Blog With Me

Will you join me in my challenge? The Blogcentric podcast shares my stories and ideas as I strive to make my blog a better blog. I’m challenging myself and I’m challenging you to improve your blog one week at a time.

There’s been something that has been bugging me for a long time. It’s a guilty secret of sorts. There’s a post on my website that is currently responsible for 25% of my traffic and it’s a bad post.

It’s not written badly, the graphics aren’t too bad but it’s still utter rubbish. The problem is that the information contained within is bad. I’ve known for a while that the info is bad but I’ve been clinging on to the post as it drives traffic. Today, the day I post my first podcast is the day I decide if I should delete it or just update it.

Find out which option I choose and why by listening in below:

Also in this Podcast I discuss the first three challenges to improve your blog:

  1. Rewrite or delete any bad posts
  2. Update out of date content – do this one bit at a time. I’m starting with my posts on Facebook ads
  3. Delete any posts that talk review tools or products that don’t exist anymore. I’m starting with my posts on Facebook ads

Do you accept the challenge?

Here’s the post I’m rewriting, hopefully by the time you click it it will be updated.
Here’s the category I’m working on cleaning up

If you are joining me in this challenge leave me your links in the comments below.

Tune in next week Thursday to see how I did and accept a new challenge.
