• Let customers opt in for one time messages
• Good for e-commerce to share info they have asked for
• When items are back in stock or is launched
• One off message only, you can’t keep notifying afterwards

• Focus on niche interest groups
• Groups are huge but how do we use them as a business?
• As a business you can’t create a group to advertise your stuff, it has to be for people with a passion about something

• LinkedIn has bloomed since bought by Microsoft
• Jeff Weiner has been in charge since 2008, Microsoft purchased in 2018
• Microsoft hasn’t damaged the brand
