Use Your Instagram Photos To Create A Facebook Cover Photo with INK361

I love Instagram, not only the cool filters but I love finding other peoples photos there.  I remember flicking through my feed shortly after Katie Taylor took the Gold at the Olympics to find lots of images of people all over Ireland tuning into the match.  It really is a snapshot of people’s day.

This weeks cool tool creates a Facebook cover image for your profile or page using your Instagram photos.  It’s easy to do and although I’d love a few more features, like being able to choose which images appear I’m really happy with the results.  If you are a heavy Instagram user you could create a new one every week and share those snapshots of your life with your Facebook friends or Likers.

Here’s how it works:

Go to www.ink361.com and log in using your Instagram log in

There are lots of features to this app but to create your cover photo click on the tools icon at the top of the page

Click ‘get started’ and then ‘generate cover’ and the app will get started creating your image

Once it’s finished working you will need to download the image.  I found that clicking the download button under the image didn’t produce an image file.  However if you right click on the image (or ‘apple c’ on a mac) you can choose to download this way.

Now all you have to do is upload it to Facebook. Here’s mine, what do you think?
