2 Questions about Facebook for Business – Photos and Status updates

How do you add more photos to an album on a Facebook page? How can you leave longer status updates? These are two questions we have been asked by our blog readers recently.

How to add photographs to an existing album on a Facebook business page:

If you don’t have a photo tab on your Facebook page you will need to add one. Click ‘edit page’ underneath your logo, choose ‘apps’ from the sidebar and ‘edit settings’ underneath the photos app. Here you can add and remove the tab.

How to post longer status updates:

A Facebook status update can only be 240 characters long. If you want to post longer upload a photograph, this allows you to write a much longer update to accompany it.   The notes application is also useful for longer updates.

Many thanks to David McCauley Photography and Marie Ennis O’Connor from Social Ease for their questions

Floating above them are large black question marks and a speech bubble that reads ‘Still scrolling?’ The background is split: the left side is orange with halftone dots, and the right side is blue with halftone dots. The image has a vibrant, playful comic-book feel.
