Aside from all the great speakers there was also some fun and madness on day one of the Dublin Web Summit. Here’s my two highlights:
The Singing Robot from Mason Hayes Curren
It took me three tries but eventually I managed to capture the slightly scary, yet totally awesome crooning robot that was prowling the exhibition hall. Here he is in all his glory:
The Electric Ireland Twitter Cafe
I’m a bit of a sucker for a gimmick so I’m loving the tweet cafe. In order to get a cuppa and a treat you choose what you would like from the display cabinet, tweet ‘#tweetcafe’ + the number on the door of the display cabinet and wait until your name appears on the screen to collect. If you are here today I recommend the chocolate brownies.
