If like me you use a lot of Google alerts you may find that your email inbox is becoming clogged with alerts that you never seem to have time to read. I recently discovered a way that not only clears your inbox but makes it easier to manage your alerts. Using Google Alerts in conjunction with Google Reader makes the process simple.
If you are not using Google Alerts already check out our video on how to get started, we recommend using it in conjunction with a Gmail account as it makes it easy to sync it to your Google Reader.

Social Meniton: The most comprehensive social media search tool we’ve found that not only throws up results but measures sentiment and other data relating to your key words. It also allows you to download a csv (excel) file so that you can track progress over time.
Who’s Talkin: Not as detailed information but it’s faster to throw up results and allows you to switch quickly between one network to another.
